Our January newsletter gave an outline of the upcoming Places Matter conference between Arts Council and Local Government. The conference will now take place over 2 days with the following agenda.
Programme
- Workshop for venue managers, arts officers and arts organisations with Nina Simon, Director of the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History, NUIG on 27 March, 2pm–4pm
- Launch of new Arts Council Equality, Human Rights and Diversity Policy in the Pálás Cinema on 27 March at 6pm
- Places Matter conference, Bailey Allen Hall, NUIG on 28 March, 9.30pm–4pm

- Nina Simon, Director of the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History.
- Abid Hussain – Director of Diversity Arts Council England
- Professor William Schabas – Chairman of the Irish Centre for Human Rights at the National University of Ireland, Galway
