The outcome of the Visual Artists’ Workspace Scheme, which is administered by Visual Artists Ireland on behalf of the Arts Council has been announced.

The Arts Council is procuring the services of a number of Arts Advisers to meet the needs of the organisation both from a quality and service delivery perspective. The artforms to which this relates are: Literature (English language), Literature (Irish language) and Visual Arts.

The Arts Council of Ireland and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Public Art Commissioner to deliver a commission which represents the island-wide artistic and civic contribution made by Seamus Heaney in his lifetime.

Activity previously funded through the Deis Award will now be accommodated through the Traditional Arts Project Award in 2018
