In an ever-changing and uncertain funding landscape, building reliance and financial sustainability is critical for the arts and culture sector to ensure their long-term survival. How can cultural organisations increase their financial stability without compromising their artistic integrity and values?
Encouraging the cultural sector to develop new business models is a priority for the Creative Europe programme. In order to help the arts and culture sector gain a deeper understanding new business models, the Creative Europe Desks from Ireland and Northen Ireland have joined together to deliver New Business Models in Practice.
We will hear from arts and culture organisations who are employing innovative practices to ensure that their businesses grow and thrive. The event will also provide an opportunity for networking with peers from the North and South and also from across Europe.
Our keynote speaker, Sandy Fitzgerald, will talk about Creative Lenses, a Creative Europe funded project that helps cultural organisations improve their business models and develop long-term strategic capacities.
