The Arts Council will host a number of information sessions to support relevant persons in arts organisations who have responsibility for dignity and respect at work and the prevention of bullying and harassment for workers.

The Arts Council has announced the renewal of its partnership with Music Generation, investing a further €530,000 in the programme from November 2017 to December 2020. Building on the success of the first phase of the partnership (2013 – 2016), this funding will continue to deliver on the shared strategic priorities of both organisations.

The contract is offered for a 1 year period. The Arts Council may extend the contract for a further two periods of not more than one year each.

The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) is carrying out a consultation regarding the new draft specification for Leaving Certificate Art. The consultation will remain open from Monday 26th March - Friday 18th May, 2018.

Applications are invited from film artists of distinction for the role of Film Artist in Residence (Screenwriter), jointly funded by the Arts Council and University College Cork.

The closing date for tours starting from January to June 2019 will be Thursday, 3^rd May 2018.

The deadline for the next round of the Arts Council's Commissions Award is Thursday 3 May, 2018 at 5.30pm. The window for making an application opens on Tuesday 3 April 2018.

The deadline for the Opera Projects and Production Award is 5:30 pm, Thursday, May 10.

Applications are now open for this final masterclass in the Series. Designed for professional artists interested in working with physicality and embodiment to create engaging, dynamic and shared experience performances. The workshop will utilise mask and clown as tools to unlock the performers’ own vulnerability and fragility.

On Friday 25 May, Words Ireland is hosting a national get together for writers at IMMA in partnership with the International Literature Festival Dublin.
