The Arts Council’s next three-year plan under our strategy, Making Great Art Work, commits to continue to support arts organisations to broaden their income base through a continuation of our RAISE programme, and also help to develop a culture for giving to the arts in Ireland.

Delivered on behalf of the Arts Council by O’Kennedy Consulting, the current RAISE participating organisations have recorded and acknowledged significant progress and benefits in the areas of income generation, new prospects, ability to prepare professional proposals, achieving support and engagement from their Boards, increased profiling of their organisations and a change of culture within their organisations in support of private investment and philanthropy.

Highlights include a 30 percent increase in fundraising income, with 76 percent of RAISE organisations now having Corporate Engagement programmes as well as Friends and Patron programmes, and 22 RAISE organisations now with fundraising committees.
